The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) hosted a round table discussion on March 20, 2019 at LWUA Auditorium, MWSS-LWUA Complex, Quezon City covering issues such as water crisis, impact of privatization, and the role of government in the access and control of water resources. In line with the World Water Day Celebration last friday, March 22, 2019, the round table discussion entitled Round Table Series on Poverty: Access and control of water resources in the Philippines was participated by select NGAs, NAPC Basic Sectors, CSOs, NGOs, and Water Districts.
In pursuance of the MOA between NAPC and the Calbayog City Mayor’s Office, the agency conducted a coordination meeting with local planning officials on the integration and implementation of the Sambayanihan Serbisyong Sambayanan (SSS) in the city.
