Basic Sector Coordination and Advocacy Service (BSCAS)

Oversees and strengthens the representation and participation of the basic sectors in local, national, and international bodies; provides administrative and technical support to the operation of the 14 basic sectoral councils, composed of 15 to 25 organizations, that were established under Section 6 of RA 8425 and required by law to meet quarterly, as well as to basic sector groups at large.
