A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed last September 2, 2019 at Gat Yantok Memorial Court in Majayjay Laguna by Secretary Noel K. Felongco of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC)

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed last September 2, 2019 at Gat Yantok Memorial Court in Majayjay Laguna by Secretary Noel K. Felongco of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) and Mayor Claro Invinzor B. Clado of the Municipality of Majayjay Laguna in coordination with the Philippine Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

NAPC and the Municipality of Majayjay agreed to build the Herbarium and Vegetable Training Outpost to enable and empower the local communities for capacity building and know-how technology on the standard way of handling vegetable produce and other related fresh, preserved, processed, and/or dried plants.

As part of NAPC's agenda after MOA signing, the Planning Committee composed of the Local Poverty Reduction Action Team (LPRAT) and Technical Working Group (TWG) which was headed by Mr. Elias C. Labro, Jr., proceeded into the details of implementation of the said project.

The project hopes to alleviate poverty through the increase of household income and the improvement of people's daily food subsistence according to NAPC's five (5) year development plan concept of Coop'poration.
