In line with the commitment of the ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข-๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐๐) on the ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐๐, otherwise known as the ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง, and as part of its efforts to catalyze and accelerate gender mainstreaming within the agency and its instrumentalities, the NAPC Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System conducted its 2nd G๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ on April 19, 2022. The meeting was attended by the GAD Technical Working Group and the corresponding GAD Focals of the different service units and unions, such as the Administrative and Financial Management Service (AFMS), Basic Sector Coordination and Advocacy Service (BSCAS), Local Affairs Coordinating and Monitoring Service (LACMS), Office of Secretary, Contract of Service Employees Association (COSEA), and NAPC Secretariat Workers Association (NAPCSWA).
The activity commenced with a message from the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ, and proceeded by the presentation of the GAD Accomplishment Reports for the 1st Quarter.ย The committee also deliberated the proposed GAD activities and programs of each service unit for the 2nd Quarter, and their corresponding GAD plans as reflected in the NAPC GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) for Fiscal Year 2022.
